About this cause
The organisation is made up of a group of parents and staff that volunteer their time and energy to make a difference for the children of Keldmarsh Primary School and the local community. A growing calender of events throughout the school year invites children to Halloween Discos, Christmas Parties and Secret Santa Shopping. The local community are invited to other events including Easter Bingo, Fashion Shows and sports days. Parental and community engagement is key to Keldmarsh Primary School, the objective of the Keldmarsh Friends Association is to support this through event organisation and fund raising.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Seating and meeting places are important for all age groups. The project will not only inspire and transform the school grounds into a space that supports the health , well being and learning of our pupils but will provide a feature for potential use by other community groups, i.e Brownies, Scouts, dance, drama or book clubs.
