We would like to develop our toy loaning service and improve the play sessions we provide to the local community.
About this cause
We are a charity, led by a voluntary committee, which provides a toy Library and play sessions to the local community. This enables families to meet in a safe and welcoming environment, encouraging interaction, support and friendships between children and adults. We enable families to have access to toys which they may otherwise not have access to, this could be due to space, affordability or exposure to toys they did not know the benefits of. We also provide nutritional snacks to the children during the play sessions. We pride ourselves on how friendly and welcoming all our sessions are and we are passionate about continuing to develop this community facility and enabling all people access to affordable and varied play options within a supportive and friendly environment.
How this cause brings people in the community together
When our families access our services they are provided with the opportunity to interact with supportive peers, this in turn reduces isolation thus leading to happier members of our society. We also reduce the cost of toys for families by providing the loaning facility, children have access to 100s of toys which they may otherwise not have access to. There are also many environmental advantages.
