Bandon Hill Wood Field & Oak Field PSA
Education & Skills
Help us renovate a rundown ball park to create a multi-functional sports pitch for use all year round, during and after school time.
About this cause
The role of the Bandon Hill Wood Field & Oak Field Parent & Staff Association is to raise money to help the School by providing materials, resources and facilities which benefit everyone who uses the School and assist in building a community of parents and teachers. Funds raised have been used to donate £5000 to launch a School Library and recently purchase outdoor seating for the playground to allow classes to be held outside. Funds are raised in many way, including Discos, Race Night, Cake Sales, Christmas Craft Fete, Summer Fair, Raffles, Reception Tea-Towels and Christmas Cards. We have a great relationship with the School and are fully supported by the Head of School and her Teaching Team. The school is not able to make funds available for this Project, so fund raising is essential
How this cause brings people in the community together
Outdoor space for sporting activities is crucial for a growing School, it currently has 600 pupils and within 2 years will grow to 840 pupils, it will also give a safe outside environment for physical activity for Oak Field, a centre for children with Autism. We will encourage children to play sport safely at a young age whatever their economic or social background this helps the whole community.
