We need funds to create a community cafe/youth cafe/creative area that is an attractive, multi purpose space, fulfilling a range of needs.
About this cause
To establish & run a village hall & to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of sex, sexual orientation,age, disability,nationality,race, or political religious or other opinions, the provision of facilities for education,recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth,age,infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social & economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare& with the object of improving the life of the said inhabitants.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will help to increase the number of older people involved in creative activities which in turn helps to prevent loneliness & feelings of isolation. Also young people need somewhere to meet & enjoy undertaking activities & this in turn, research shows, can reduce the level of anti social behaviour in an area.
