Help us develop a garden for the use of the patients, and their families, in the spinal injuries unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
About this cause
Horatio's Garden is a national charity that builds beautiful gardens for patients at NHS spinal treatment centres. The gardens are special sanctuaries for patients to share with their friends and families – and the hospital staff too. The charity organises all sorts of creative events and therapeutic activities for patients, which are held in the gardens. Volunteers are vital to the gardens and they are trained by the charity to support patients and help with the gardening. Horatio's Garden helps to plant hope for people living with paralysis. Our current project is building a garden at the internationally acclaimed spinal injuries unit at Stoke Mandeville.
