About this cause
We are committed to improving the quality of life for the local community and to combatting social exclusion, poverty, disadvantage, and discrimination. We provide a welcoming and supportive environment in which individuals can learn valuable skills and access essential information. By working in partnership with a variety of local organisations, we are able to provide a wide range of classes, advice and information services, and support groups. From welfare advice to community gardening, art groups to I.T. classes, the Maxwell Centre aims to empower members of our community to improve their quality of life.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our centre is used extensively by our local community for various support and workshops including, Job Club, Community Computer Access, Language Classes, Photography Classes, Children's Clubs and lots more.
