We want to develop and implement an outdoor education project allowing our company to develop and achieve key life skills from a young age.
About this cause
The Boys’ Brigade engages with over 50,000 children and young people providing opportunities to meet together in their communities and engage in a range of fun and developmental activities. We believe that empowering children and young people is important and do this by involving them in decision making at all levels of the BB and giving responsibility appropriate to their age and aptitude. What we do enables children and young people to engage with the needs of others (especially other young people) locally, nationally and globally and encouraging them to participate in activities and projects in which they can make a difference.
How this cause brings people in the community together
the community will have a cohort of young people spanning a wide age range who have vastly developed team working and leadership skills this will aid in supporting a strong leadership team for the village and surrounding areas for the future. The immediate impact will be seen within the education of the young people who take part as all activities will relate across to the national curriculum.
