About this cause
Uttlesford Community Travel (UCT) is a local charity supplying transport solutions for the elderly, disabled and rurally isolated. UCT can help you maintain your independence by helping you get to the shops, hairdresser, meet up with friend or attend other social events using pre-book minibus service. UCT can also help you attend medical appointments at you local surgery, clinic or hospital thanks to our large team of volunteer drivers.
How this cause brings people in the community together
With the importance of independent choice and living for the most vulnerable in society, a record of the activities if challenged whilst members are in the trusted and care of UCT a true and accurate account would be recorded and could be produced and evidenced.
