We want to purchase equipment for our garden project so that the children can use it all year round, regardless of the weather.
About this cause
We are a committee run Playgroup providing quality early learning education for 2-5 year olds in the community. We aim to provide a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum and environment. We aim to encourage children to become confident, highly motivated and independent learners and ensure their development and progress. We aim to provide a safe and secure, happy environment and to provide a welcoming and supportive partnership with parents, where their views are valued and shared. We aim to ensure that the playroom and outdoor areas are well equipped and the staff have the opportunity to attend regular training and in-service courses.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It is recognised by the Scottish Government the importance of outdoor play. We wish to instill this in the children from a young age as there is something fundamentally healthy about using the outdoors. Outdoor play enables children to enjoy the natural environment and learn to seek out exercise, fresh air and activity which they will take with them as they grow and pass on for generation to come.
