About this cause

EVGC is a gymnastics club providing a venue for the local community to participate in gymnastics and other sporting activities. EVGC currently engages 850+ participants per week. Our objectives are to engage with as many members of the local community as possible to maximise the use of the space we have to allow this to benefit the community.

How this cause brings people in the community together

The venue is a community venue and whilst the children engage in positive sporting activities, the parents will be able to socialise and meet in our reception area / cafe. This project will build more relationships in the gym and in the community cafe and waiting area, benefiting the whole community. We also have specific sessions targeting young people to reduce antisocial behaviour in the area.
