How this cause brings people in the community together

The group leads to positive health and wellbeing. Giving people who have visual impairment or sight loss the opportunity to go into a social setting prevents them becoming socially isolated. Friendship, activity and an opportunity to give something back leads to an increase in confidence and raises self esteem. This increases individual resilience which helps build cohesive communities.
