We want to provide a wide range of recreational classes. Money will be spent on tutor/organiser fees, rental, equipment and refreshments.
About this cause
Seahouses Development Trust aims to create a sustainable community where people are proud to live, able to work, to bring up their children, to fulfil their own hopes and ambitions, and to grow old gracefully. The Trust works with all sections of the Community to provide services and social opportunities for all. It currently runs a youth project for young people between the ages of 9 & 18, a community warm hub providing a warm friendly space were all members of the community are welcome, the facility provides a friendly environment with free use of computers internet access, a book lending service, office services and information. The Trust also runs a community cinema showing a variety of up to date films to suit a wide and diverse audience.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This will be an opportunity for all members of the community to come together to learn new skills or improve excisitng ones in an informal social environment. The project will hopefully lead to new groups being established and new friendships formed, the Trust hopes it will also lead to more community involvement in the work it does.
