We want to pay for the costs to run a homeless project for vulnerable people for six months a year for the next two years.
About this cause
The objectives for the Trust are to preserve for the benefit of the residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and for the nation, the former church of St Matthias, Poplar, situated in the said borough as a building of exceptional architectural and historic value - To make available to the residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and to others, the former church of St Matthias and its facilities for the purposes of social welfare, and for recreational and cultural activities, with the overriding objective of enhancing the quality of life in the area. - Neighbours in Poplar: Works with Growth in Tower Hamlets to provide volunteer support to their Homeless Project - Growth in Tower Hamlets: Works with St Matthias to provide a Homeless Project between Nov-May each year.

We help the community by - Providing services to homeless people with addictions to secure rehab support and long term accommodation - Bringing community volunteers together who enjoy meeting the clients on the project - Local younger volunteers to develop life skills and an understanding of effects the of drugs, alcohol and homelessness we are all just one paycheck away from homelessness
