About this cause

MYCT is a volunteer led charity which runs Malvern Cube, a youth and community centre. Our objective is to build community in Malvern by providing inclusive, affordable space for hire by a range of providers who share our vision. The Cube is consequently home to groups providing activities and support for adults with learning difficulties, autism, drug and alcohol addiction, and bereavement support. It also hosts a long-standing youth club and two theatre groups, one for young people. Local residents can access a film club, exercise classes and musical activities. It is well used by U3A for a range of adult learning. Weekend Cube runs an exciting programme of gigs, concerts and ground breaking drama. All visitors can access the cafe. Diverse and inclusive sum up our aims.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Malvern Cube makes a big contribution towards offering everyone in the local community a wide range of activities. It is home to a number of groups supporting those with physical difficulties, as well as hosting a large number of University of the Third Age (U3A) groups whose members are senior citizens, some with mobility issues. We need easy access via automatic doors to the building for all.
