The Stoke Poges School
Education & Skills
We would like to renovate all the outside areas, including the foundation stage area, with new playground equipment.
About this cause
We are a primary school with 420 pupils from reception through to Year 6 (Ages 4-11 years). We are an extremely happy and successful school, in a beautiful location and are very proud of our local reputation for excellence and aim to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment to enable all children to achieve their full potential. Through focusing on both academic achievement and personal development, our children leave us confident, caring responsible citizens with a love of learning and high levels of skills to equip them for moving on. Many children live within the boundaries of the village and the remainder in the surrounding areas. In addition to educating children from the village and beyond, the school plays a pivotal role in bringing the village community together.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Most of the children live in the village and surrounding areas and the school is the heart of the community. The pupils will benefit from the new revamped playground area during lesson time, breaks and after-school clubs by offering them a chance to try new activities and gain new skills. Our aim is to offer outstanding provisions to the young people of the community and village.
