We need to renovate and upgrade our kitchen facilities and flooring.
About this cause
Bala Bowling Club is a crown green bowling club founded in the early 80s. Membership covers all age groups. The Club covers social and competitive bowling with teams in the Meirionnydd and North Wales Leagues. Apart from the membership the club facilities are used by local organisations in the community such as Rotary, Whist Club and other Bowling Clubs from the area. The kitchen facilities are used by the aforementioned groups. Due to flooding earlier this year, the kitchen facilities require new flooring and upgrading to bring the kitchen up to the required standard.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will enable the Bowling Club to provide food and refreshments for visiting bowling clubs, local organisations and groups. It will also be used to enable the Club to organise and run Bowling events to raise funds for the Club and as an extra facility for other clubs such as Football, Bingo, Playground and Youth Groups who use this facility as members of the Sports Association.
