About this cause
Glebelands is the local secondary school in Cranleigh for children aged 11-16. We aim to offer a high standard of education which prepares our pupils to be highly motivated, responsible and well qualified young adults. We challenge all members of the school community to achieve their personal best and ensure that everyone makes a positive difference to our school and the local and wider community. We strive to be an outstanding school, we have high expectations of our students and ensure that the highest standards of teaching and learning underpin excellent progress and achievement.
How this cause brings people in the community together
A number of events take place at the school throughout the year to which the local community are invited. These take place in the main school hall which has fixed rigging for lights and a school stage. Having portable equipment will not only enhance the experience for our students, but also offer entertainment facilities for community use, such as use of our dining hall for dance classes.
