Audlem Youth Club

We want to introduce an additional weekly 'drop-in' session for over 14 year olds in the Village and need funds to cover hire costs.
About this cause
Audlem Youth Club aims to provide quality youth provision which is fun and educational; in a safe a friendly environment be part of the Village Community. They are also using established village facilities and becoming aware of their importance. Seeing first hand what makes Audlem such a strong community and good place to live will encourage them to be proud of the village and maintain it for future generations. It is run entirely by volunteers and membership has increased to 30 since it started 12 months ago. A member of the Club is working for his Duke of Edinburgh Award and as part of that has become a leader at the Youth Club.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Since the Youth Club opened 18 months ago the local PCSO (police) have gone on record that Anti Social Behaviour has declined and the Youth Club has been a significant factor. The key purpose of a youth club is to reach out and engage with under 18's in Community. There is a drift away 14-16 and this new session with relevant activities will address this and keep them engaged for a while longer.
