About this cause
Liberty is a Pregnancy Counselling Service, we support parents who have suffered a baby/pregnancy loss or crisis pregnancy, we also help with infertility, traumatic birth and Post natal depression. We do this by offering a counselling service and giving time and a safe space to clients enabling them to make decisions/grieve their loss. We aim to support clients on their journey to healing and help them to step back into work and their communities feeling ready to experience life again. We aim to achieve less doctors visits and less medication by helping the client to develop better coping strategies building up their resilience as they move on from us.
How this cause brings people in the community together
1 in4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, leaving women and families feeling isolated, the group will help them by reducing isolation, stress, anxiety low mood, reducing doctor visits, medication, building resilience, confidence and helping them participate again in their community. Helping families cope better together.
