We would like to update the play equipment in our setting for the local children who use our pre-school.
About this cause
Toybox Pre-school is a registered charity offering term time day care for 2 to 5 year olds for over 20 years and is open Monday to Friday. The children’s day consists of varied and interesting sessions where they will learn through organised and free play. We have a secure outside play area and aim to allow the children to use it everyday. We also often take the children out on walks through the fields or into town. Our routine reflects the needs of each child: in the morning children are able to spend an appropriate amount of time on their activity. As older children can engage in an activity for longer than the younger ones, we offer a balance of child-initiated or child-led learning with some adult led activities, giving the children the opportunities to develop a wide range of skills.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Many local children in the Castle Cary area come to learn through play with us at Toybox pre-school. Our friendly staff enjoy helping them to develop their early interests and form friendships which can last all the way through their educational journey into adulthood. We aim to provide a safe and engaging setting for local children with age-appropriate equipment and space to play in.
