We want to buy a mini bus to take our service users to events and competitions around the UK.
About this cause
We support service users from - disability, mental health, criminal justice, substance misuse, bullying, social inclusion, homelessness and many more backgrounds. Our weekly inclusive, diverse and supportive football session is dedicated to work with a person centered approach, with the clients needs, health and well being catered for throughout by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Through our weekly work, we travel the lengths and depths of the United Kingdom playing in competitions with other clubs like ourselves. It offers scope for travel, education, team bonding, meeting new people, confidence building, money management as well as volunteering to earn credits to pay for such events. Our aims are to support, develop, educate and energise people to make a difference.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The project will allow us to shuttle players with ease it will add increased volunteering opportunities in our town as we can travel with players to venues it will allow us to train and educate volunteers to drive the bus it will increase participation through media exposure it will add and make easier travel around UK further peoples confidence and pride.
