Help us provide all operational members of the team with a radio and infrastructure to improve communications, response time and safety.
About this cause
We provide assistance to the Police, Ambulance and Fire Service in dealing with lost and injured people. We additionally provide services in times of adverse weather such as flooding and heavy snow where our specialist training and equipment is needed. Our services are available to anyone who requires them. Whilst mainly based around West Yorkshire, because of the specialist nature of some of our services we can be called anywhere in the country. All our 56 members provide their services free of charge
How this cause brings people in the community together
When our village flooded on Boxing Day 2015 the Rescue Team were heavily involved in the evacuation of those affected by the floods. We are a group that is based in the village, we are mainly local people, improving the quality and speed of our communications can only help improve the service we supply the people who call upon us.
