We need to make upgrades to the fencing in our pig area to make it better for the pigs and more accessible.
About this cause
We aim to rescue and actively re-home as many animals as we can. Those unsuitable for re-homing or unable to be found homes can live out their days with us here at the Sanctuary. We also aim to educate people in the correct way to care for animals and about the commitment involved.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our Sanctuary is popular, locally with potential adopters and visitors in general. We also offer work experience to school pupils, college and vet students. We also have schools and brownie groups. Improving the pig area will enable us to be able to use this area in our tours and talks to better effect than at present.
