We want to buy craft, music and gardening equipment including storage facilities to benefit girls in our brownie group.
About this cause
Our brownie group is for 7-10 year old girls. We run fun and enriching activities such as crafts,cooking, sports & games.We usually work towards a brownie interest badge from badges such as crime prevention and first aid to circus performer. Activities are based around the brownie 'promise' where girls promise to do their best to be true to themselves and develop their beliefs, serve the queen and their community & keep the brownie guide law (thinking of others before themselves) we often raise money for the community or charities and partake in church activities such as Remembrance Sunday & the Christmas gift service & go on camp trips. Our objectives are to enrich girls lives and teach them how to be an all rounded individuals through team work & developing independence & self esteem.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This will benefit the girls within the group (they stay for 3 years age 7-10) they will learn valuable skills they can use in their daily lives. The equipment can be used at local churches at events or at local fetes. We could even make food to donate for harvest festival or the less advantaged. The small garden would also help this cause by growing our our food/plants.
