Funds would be used for commissioning a special song for use by the men's and junior's choir and to take the song into local schools.
About this cause
We are an innovative men's choir which runs singing outreach projects, stages concerts, flash mobs and other events, to get men and young lads interested in singing. We support good causes nationally and locally through our activities. Our activities benefit the whole community, as well as promoting a healthy, socially-inclusive and life-enriching pastime for men of all ages, building confidence in youngsters. Outreach projects with local youngsters include singing together, singing workshops and mentorship. Our charitable aim can be summarised as: fostering public knowledge and appreciation of choral music through public performance. Recent projects such as our 'Real Men Sing Project' included taking budding singers to perform at Wembley in front of 80,000 people!
How this cause brings people in the community together
Help to commemorate the end of World War 1. Help to educate people about the sacrifices made in war. Help to interest young men in a healthy, socially-inclusive and life-enriching pastime. Bring all ages together in a collaborative venture. Give community pride in the youngsters. People will enjoy and value the concerts and events.
