We would like to run a weekly family group and a multiple births group meeting twice a month.
About this cause
Home-Start North West Hampshire supports children and families in a wide range of situations. Some of the children are themselves disabled or seriously ill. We help with practical support such as hospital visits, care of the child and working with siblings to ensure they are not forgotten. We work with children who have a child protection plan with the aim of keeping the family together. Other children are living in relative poverty, unable to get to activities outside the home. We help to reduce the isolation and help the children socialise with other children.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Develop improved social skills, learning through play and meeting development milestones. Focus on healthy eating, eating more fruit, less processed food. Have the ability to engage with learning when starting school.
