About this cause
Mid Cheshire Foodbank provides relief to individuals and families in crisis, in Mid Cheshire and surrounding areas, through the provision of a sustainable Foodbank and associated activities. In 2016/17 we provided 3 days of emergency food to 3888 local individuals, 38% of these were children
How this cause brings people in the community together
MCFB is helping by providing food to local people at the point of crisis. It is run totally by local volunteers and based substantially on local donations of food by individuals and organisations. It is local people in the community supporting others who need their help
