We want to revitalise our outdoor learning space by buying a mud kitchen and equipment to provide a more stimulating environment.
About this cause
Tilston Pre-School Playgroup (TPP) is an OFSTED Registered charity that was established in 1977 in the village of Tilston. Forty years on TPP continues to serve not only the community of the village but also the wider rural area. We provide high quality childcare for children aged 2-5 years allowing the opportunity for all children to learn through play, in a safe, secure environment where children are valued and listened to. Children can take part in a wide variety of stimulating activities and experiences that promotes all aspects of their learning. TPP enables children to engage with other children and assists in making the transition to school a little less daunting for both the children and parents. Being a registered charity we rely heavily on fund raising events and donations.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will provide a safe and interesting place for the children of the local community to go outside, explore, examine and get back to basics with nature. Obtaining this funding would take the financial pressure from the local community, there are many other projects that this small village also supports at the local primary school, the church and Playing field association for example.
