We would like to buy three interactive BenQ 65” LED display whiteboards with touchscreens for use in the school's classrooms.
About this cause
The Dormansland Primary School Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) provides practical and financial support to Dormansland Primary for the benefit of the children and local community. Dormansland Primary is a small village school with just 200 pupils aged 4 - 11. The school PTA is a voluntary charity organisation reliant on fundraising, grants and donations from local businesses. Our aim is to enhance the school environment for the children by funding vital school equipment, activities and community engagement projects to provide all the extras that the school cannot afford alone. Following severe cut backs in government funding and the particular impact of this on small village schools like Dormansland Primary, our role in providing the 'cherry on the cake' is even more important.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Investing in our village school is investing in the future of the Lingfield & Dormansland community. The children will benefit greatly from this modern teaching technology. We support The Co-Operative's values. Our PTA banks with you, we support the Lingfield Co-operative store and we are a Fair Aware School (Fairtrade mark). We can work together to improve access to learning for our community.
