About this cause
Blaenllechau Youth Project endeavours to encourage the children and young people of Blaenllechau and The Upper Rhondda Fach between the ages of 5 and 25 years to become more actively involved in their communities through various activities and the informal education of life skills. To advance in life and help young people through provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life. (b)Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities, to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We provide good quality, staffed, open access play provision which will relieve pressure of everyday life for parent/carers during term time and holidays. Children will benefit from learning new skills and meeting and making new friends. The children and young people will benefit from 'having somewhere to go' and 'something to do' 3 times weekly (term time) and every day of the school holidays.
