About this cause
The Community Youth Project delivers activities for young people in Martock Youth Centre. We provide open door youth club activities for young people aged 8-18 years. We also run project work this includes Life Skills , young helper training. Young people also support the Parish Council in regards to policy, play areas & supports community local events. We are located centrally within a small market town with limited public transport & other opportunities for young people. We provide advice and guidance to those young people needing extra support and create opportunity for young people to access life skills training, Volunteering and Social action, increasing engagement with the local community. Young people learn skills which can increase their employability and improve well being.

Martock Youth Centre is a safe and welcoming place to meet and make new friends, to access skilled youth workers who provide opportunity for personal and social development. We support young people to engage more with their community, which helps develop community cohesion, especially cross generational.Young people learn to take pride in their community and to positively contribute
