About this cause
We're e a small, passionate dog rescue based near Mold in North Wales. We aim to provide a safe haven for dogs that have been abandoned through no fault of their own. All our dogs are homed temporary with our amazing group of dog foster volunteers, some of which are specific breed experienced. We make sure that all our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchiped and each dog has a individual behavior assessment. We re-home them to a loving home with thorough home checks. Almost Home Dog Rescue are passionate to educate the next generation of dog owners in the North East Wales area through talks at local primary schools and community groups plus two monthly dog walk socialising groups.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We're very passionate about dogs, from making sure they go to the right home, to community pack walks for dogs, owners and future owners to socialise to educating the future generations and members the community on good dog ownership, guidance and responsibility. Neutering all dogs so that no more unwanted litters end up in rescue and microchipping for return of lost or stolen pets.
