About this cause

St. Anne’s Pre-School, has been successfully operating since 1970. It is a community run pre-school, for children between two and five years of age. Our objectives are: To help children make choices, develop their own ideas, creativity and imagination, whilst learning through play. To broaden children’s horizons about themselves, their family, the local community and the world at large. To deliver professional coaching and teaching, wherever possible, working in parallel with the parents/carers. To provide a stimulating setting with the opportunity for hands on activity in a safe and secure environment. We are applying so that this can be built on further and provide more opportunity for outdoor activity, which the children thrive on.

How this cause brings people in the community together

A sensory garden would positively impact the Pre School children by enhancing their early years experience. Parent/carers would be involved in the process and invited to take part in activities. We would open the garden for community fun days and markets held at St Annes Centre. And for Rainbows in the evenings. It will bring a lift to The Hatch area, which is often forgotten due to its location.
