About this cause

The Friends of Hoylake and Meols in Bloom's aim is to help ensure that the villages of Hoylake and Meols are attractive and pleasant places to work, live, rest and play. This is achieved through all year planting along the main thoroughfares, and maintaining the floral displays and facilities in Queens Park and Parade Gardens and working with other local groups to enhance our environment. Our activities are funded by memberships, donations, grants, hosting events in our parks and through support from local companies.

How this cause brings people in the community together

This project along with restoration works already carried out will further secure the future of these Victorian sunken gardens for local people, visitors and coastal walkers to enjoy.
