UITC also run many activities specifically aimed at the wider community, promoting health, education, social inclusion, equality. An under 18's ladies team was begun recently, and opportunities for people with disabilities to play football are planned. UITC also run Soccer Schools in Summer for children aged 6 to 14 help them develop confidence and keep fit.

How this cause brings people in the community together

By equipping and encouraging young people to take a more active role in their local community the project will help stimulate positive change that is owned and led by the community. It will contribute to people realising they have the knowledge and skills to make positive change happen for themselves, and empower them to come together to create solutions for the whole community.
