Young People
Our group has grown exponentially from being at risk of closure to having over 80 members. We now need more equipment and supplies.
About this cause
We provide a service which both engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. All young people are welcome from the ages of 6 through to young adult, we teach them to be responsible, to undertake new and sometimes challenging activities helping young people to make new friends, help others and make a valuable contribution to society. Whilst spending time with us they will have the opportunity to participate in camps, learn a vast skill set which will help them throughout their adult life. Many of our children go on to become young leaders ensuring the group can continue for many years to come. We offer our service to all regardless of ability or class, it's all about inclusion, leave no one behind!
How this cause brings people in the community together
We provide a low cost activity for ALL young people, some of whom have learning difficulties, from the age of 6, we help them make a positive difference to the local community, our group is growing all the time, with these extra funds we would be able to provide everything these young people need to be the best they can. More resources mean we can help provide support for more people that need it.
