We would like to turn an unused grassed area into a sensory garden that will engage all the senses and help children to learn.
About this cause
Supporters of Oughtibridge School is a group of people determined to give our children the best and richest experience of school they could possibly have. This all round experience is not limited to academic education alone but also to more general life experiences such as interacting with others, building confidence and becoming socially aware and being sympathetic to the needs of others.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The school is very popular with local residents and recently the buildings were extended to accommodate more children. This expansion unfortunately resulted in the loss of the school's garden in which children were able to grow plants. With this funding we could put in a new garden and the building and maintenance of the garden will involve parents and grandparents of the children who attend.
