We want to bring different groups together through community theatre, mixed music groups and community fun days.
About this cause
We provide programmes of informal education and positive activities for young people age 8 - 20 years. We also offer specific city wide provision for young people with additional needs. The centre also provide city wide music activities for young people, Liverpool Arabic Centre Inter-generation project and youth work provision which serves specifically the Czech and Slovak Roma community. Participation, inclusion and integration are at the root of what Harthill does. By providing a safe welcoming environment we can develop trust, strengthen cohesion and build unity. Harthill welcomes anybody wishing to involve themselves in positive action to achieve change; either within themselves or the community; any person willing to contribute and co-operate with others.
How this cause brings people in the community together
-to bring together strategically, the different and diverse groups who currently operate within the community - to identify current needs - emerging /evolving needs of individuals - effect positive changes to the economic life prospects of individuals; particularly with regard to integration - enhancing networks and building transferable skill sets - changes in regard to the isolation
