About this cause
Shotts Family Learning Centre provides early learning and childcare to children and families between the ages of two to five years. Our vision is that we will work effectively as a team to support and nurture children's individual needs thus encourage enthusiasm and motivation for learning. We do this by: Creating an ethos which values and respects each individual children and their families thus supporting emotional wellbeing and enabling children to become confident individuals. Strengthening true partnerships by encouraging parental involvement in sharing children's learning and achievements and in supporting the establishment. Establishing and maintaining positive links with the local and wider community, supporting the children in becoming responsible citizens.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By offering lifelong learning skills to children and families. Increase the health, fitness and well being of local families. Reducing carbon footprint and impact on environment for both the local and wider community.
