About this cause

We provide tennis, related exercise and activities within the community for those aged 3 to 80 years old. All our activities are freely open to anyone either in membership or on a casual/visitor basis. We provide free tennis coaching to children who have special needs/learning difficulties. We also provide opportunities for adults with disabilities. In March 2018 the current pilot projects are Miss-Hits and She-Rallies, aimed at getting more girls and ladies involved in tennis. We are also starting new sessions for girls and ladies, on the back of Judy Murray and Kris Souter's "Tennis on the Road". Where a 4 x 6 week block of 4 hour sessions will be held, this finishes July/August 2019.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Female participation in tennis is low, our project aims to provide sessions for females to exercise and socialise through tennis. The girls and ladies will be able to play tennis, exercise, have fun and feel comfortable as they will be working with female coaches and participants.
