We would love to refurbish our playground and secret garden area. This would include an all weather shelter and a storytelling area.
About this cause
Crawshay Preschool is a local early years setting (Ofsted Registered), providing care and education for children aged 2 until they start primary school. The preschool is a voluntary, parent committee led organisation, that works closely with the staff team and our preschool families. We aim to nurture outstanding education and learning, whilst striving to explore positive and new experiences for our pre-schoolers. We consider the preschool's physical and emotional environment as key elements to support a child's progress and success. We focus on each child's personal, social and emotional wellbeing by using our key person partnership to welcome children and their families and build on this prime foundation through our mindful interactions and by using our teaching through play approach.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Crawshay provides early care and education for children aged 2 until school, so are the first contact children and their families have with the wider world. This means we are supporting and nurturing many families for 2 years. We are based in a local community church building and any improvements made would mean, others using the building and playground will also benefit and enjoy the changes.
