RSPCA Bluebell Ridge
Animal Welfare
Allow us to continue to care for stray, abused or abandoned cats by helping them to trust again and find kind homes.
About this cause
The RSPCA Sussex East & Hastings Branch (Bluebell Ridge) has been around for over 17 years helping many thousands of animals. We work closely with the RSPCA Inspectors in the area and our activities include re-homing stray and abandoned cats, helping people with the vet care of their pets and helping animals who have suffered abuse and cruelty by helping them trust again and finding them good kind homes, which they deserve. In 2016, the centre helped to rescue and rehome over 200 animals in Hastings & Rother. We also neutered many hundreds of local cats and Bull Terriers to prevent suffering. Each year the Branch has to raise approximately £150,000 to keep the centre open and we heavily rely on the generosity of local individuals, businesses & groups. Every animal deserves a happy life.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We want to have less stray animals on the streets and in loving homes. We are a community of animal lovers and we hate to see animals in distress. Our project is always on-going with providing shelter, bedding, health care and food to stray, abandoned or abused animals. We believe that every animal deserves to have a happy life, which we hope will make a happy community.
