We want to buy new maths equipment this year and take the children on a trip out on a mini bus to a zoo to visit some animals.
About this cause
Millbrook preschool provide good quality care and education to children aged 2-4 years 11 months, We currently have 22 children on the register from Millbrook village, we employ 3 members of staff. We are based in the village hall which sadly has no outdoor space, many of our parents are on low income and have no transport. We support children's learning and development through the early years foundation stage and help to prepare them for school, we work closely with 2 local primary schools to help transition to school. We are a parent committee run preschool and rely heavily on fundraising to ensure we can keep running and improve standards in the delivery of our care and education.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will help as we provide early years education to young children, we wish to take the parents and children on a trip as many parents do not have transport therefore are unable to take the children to experience things such as seeing animals at a zoo. While we care for children this allows parents time to return to study/work to enable them to support their families more effectively.
