Help us revamp our outside area so children can learn about nature and food, and so we can purchase toys to get them active outdoors.
About this cause
We are a small rural preschool who currently care for thirty 2-4 year olds five days a week. Our team of attentive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff are dedicated to providing quality purposeful play based learning experiences. Emphasis is placed on caring for each child as a unique individual within a framework that ensures equality of opportunity for all our children and there families. The preschool is a registered charity run by volunteer trustees that are mainly made up of parents of children attending the setting. We are currently fundraising to make improvements to our outside space. We aim to get outdoors whatever the weather and would love to transform this space into a bright inviting place for the children to learn about growing their own food and inspire them to get active.
How this cause brings people in the community together
As our preshool is based in the local village hall, other hall users will benefit from a brighter, inviting outside space. We also currently run and mums and tots group who will benefit from the new revamped area and new outdoor toys. We hope the improvements will last many years providing many more children with an engaging, stimulating place to learn through play!
