We want to improve the outside of the scout hall by replacing the guttering, painting the walls and extending the security fencing.
About this cause
The organisation promotes the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. Our group is flourishing with children from a wide area surrounding Gowerton and consists of Beaver, Cub and Scout sections who all meet in the local Scout Hall. The Scout Hall is also used by the local Rainbows, Brownies and Guides and on occasions by the local school.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Improving the look of the outside and grounds of the Scout Building will ensure continuity in the future for the youth in the community to experience the full programme that Scouting and Guiding offers.
