We are fundraising to provide a new portacabin for the playgroup to ensure that future generations can benefit from the charity.
About this cause
Woodlands Playgroup is a registered charity which provides a stimulating, warm and nurturing environment for pre-school children in Yarm aged 2-5. We are non-profit making and provide an extremely valuable and affordable community resource for all children in the area. Fees are kept low so that all families can enjoy and benefit from the services that we offer Woodlands enhances the development and education of children with their parents/carers under statutory school age by providing a range of quality learning and developmental experiences tailored to their individual needs. Woodlands Playgroup is committed to safeguarding all children in our care and this is paramount in all that we practice and deliver in our setting, we actively promotes equal opportunities for all.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The funding will allow the playgroup to continue to offer this much needed service to the future generations of children of Yarm and the surrounding area. We regularly get children of adults who also came to the setting showing that they have fond memories of the playgroup and it would be a shame if the provision closed due to the building needing replacing.
