Our vision is to deliver ‘compassionate caring for our community, supporting patients and their families with life-limiting illness to live and die well’. Our specialist teams touch every part of our community, delivering healthcare, psychological, social, bereavement and spiritual support. All our care is provided free of charge. We believe in, being there for all the family, treating each person with respect. The expertise and teamwork of our staff and volunteers, delivering the highest standards of holistic care and enabling patients and their families to make choices
How this cause brings people in the community together
The project helps both adults and children face and cope with the illness and death of someone important to them and can support them as they manage their grief, contributing to a 'healthy' bereavement. The ripple effect of this can extend beyond the homes of those directly involved across the community, reaching into adult workplaces and children's schools.
