Funding will provide transport, qualified instructors and accommodation to help girls participate in camps and adventurous activities.
About this cause
Girlguiding provides a safe space for girls and young women to develop their full potential, gives girls the opportunity to take part in adventurous activities, raise international awareness and to become valuable members of their communities.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The activities the girls will participate in will improve both physical and mental health. By challenging themselves, they develop problem solving skills and resilience. The girls learn to be self sufficient, increase their self confidence and also learn to empathise and support others. By becoming stronger individuals they are able to make an impact locally to help create stronger communities.
