Citizens Advice Barnet

About this cause

Citizens Advice Barnet is an independent charity providing information, advice and support to anyone who lives, works or studies in the London Borough of Barnet. We give advice on all subjects but primarily focus on helping people with welfare benefits, debt, housing and employment problems. We can provide help over the phone, face to face or through our website and helped over 15,000 local people last year. We also campaign locally and nationally to raise awareness of issues where local people are adversely affected by policies, practices, or circumstances beyond their control. Our objectives are to give people the advice they need for the problems they face, and to improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives.
