We want to buy resources and equipment for our groups and pay for redecoration of the Centre.
About this cause
The activities and groups that we provide will give local residents a safe and accessible environment to help overcome and improve their own challenges. Our groups help to empower the community to work effectively together rather than being dependent on outside agencies alone by providing support to those vulnerable, isolated and members of the community with mental health problems. The activities will also provide greater engagement and mobility for the elderly. The services we provide assist in reducing the disadvantage and inequality that these residents face as well as increasing resilience and improving general health and well-being.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Residents will feel more confident to access other activities within their local community and know where to access help when they need it. The timetable of group will assist with overcoming economic disadvantage by providing low cost or free activities, computers, creative writing, craft are all free. Improvement in community cohesion for those lacking in confidence within the community.
